There is still time for residents to join a local nonprofit organization for free educational programs dealing with mental illness.
NAMI, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is offering Peer to Peer, an eight-week program that begins September 29th at NAMI’s Butler office in the Holly Pointe Building.
This two-hour in-person class will include course materials provided at no cost. Trained leaders with lived experience will introduce activities, facilitate discussions, and present informative videos.
Class size is limited so those interested in participating should visit the website of NAMI to register by tomorrow (Monday).
