Nascar heads to Atlanta this weekend – hear the Cup Series race Sunday at 2pm on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com.
The Cup Series will race at Martinsville Wednesday – hear that race as well on WBUT beginning at 6pm.
Nascar also released a second round of scheduling-which features a Cup Series doubleheader at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania June 27th and 28th and runs through August 2nd at New Hampshire Speedway. Nascar will also hold the annual All-Star race in Charlotte Wednesday, July 15th. There will also be a Thursday night race in Kansas July 23rd.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway will hold an IRL and NASCAR doubleheader over the July 4th weekend – but no fans will be permitted. Indy track officials were optimistic that they would be the first major sporting venue to allow fans back in the stands.
