As the end of the second quarter nears, there’s been a big bounce back for the NASDAQ.
Local financial advisor Howie Pentony said after a rough 2022, the NASDAQ is rebounding quite well.
“The NASDAQ is up 28 percent this year,” Pentony said. “That’s the third best move in the NASDAQ’s history.”
He says it almost felt inevitable following the major hits to tech stocks last year.
“The NASDAQ got murdered with tech stocks, so we would expect that it would rebound significantly because it got bombed last year,” Pentony said.
Pentony says the future of the market though will remain unknown, especially with another decision on interest rates from the Federal Reserve looming.
