Baylor has reached the Final Four of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament for the first time in 71 seasons following their 81-72 victory over Arkansas last night. The #1-seeded Bears improved to 26-2 this year.
In the other Elite Eight game last night – Houston defeated Oregon State 67-61 to also reach the Final Four for the first time in 37 years.
Tonight – the cut to the Final Four continues, with top overall seed Gonzaga facing Southern Cal at 7:15pm. UCLA and Michigan play at 9:57pm.
In the women’s tournament – UConn defeated Baylor 69-67 to reach the Final Four for the 13th consecutive year. They will meet Arizona, who defeated Indiana 66-53 last night. The remaining Elite Eight games tonight, The opening game of the night has #1-seed South Carolina meeting Texas at 7pm. Top overall seed Stanford faces Louisville at 9pm.
