A couple of surrounding counties are now considered to have a high level of COVID transmission.
According to the CDC, Armstrong and Allegheny Counties just joined four other counties with high transmission levels. Beaver and Lawrence Counties were both previously in the high transmission level.
Butler County meanwhile remains in the substantial transmission level.
As for Butler, there were more than 100 new cases over the last three days, along with one additional death according to the Department of Health.
