Butler County is closing in on having 100,000 residents receive at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the latest data from the state Department of Health, more than 86,000 people are now fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, there are about 12,000 with one dose of the vaccine.
However, the rate of vaccination has slowed considerably; there have been less than 5,000 people receive a shot since June in Butler County, which is down significantly compared to April when more than 20,000 people received at least one shot.
