Pennsylvania saw the second-highest month ever for the amount of sports bets in a single month.
The numbers show that September had nearly $580 million in bets placed during the month. Experts credit that to the beginning of football season at both the college and professional levels.
Gross revenue meanwhile yielded just over $48 million last month, which is nearly double from August.
So far this year, there has been $4.3 billion wagered in bets.
