A project to make improvements at a local park that began over three years ago is one step closer to completion.
A new pre-built restroom facility was transported to and in place at Butler Township’s Preston Park Thursday.
According to Butler Township Manager Tom Knights, construction at the site is ongoing with clearing of a parking area underway as well as digging out a storm pond and installing storm water infrastructure.
Construction work is expected to be completed by the end of the month with paving to follow as long as conditions are favorable.
