Butler County Parks and Recreation is applying for a grant in order to install new bathrooms at Alameda Park.
The application was approved at last week’s county commissioner meeting. Officials say the plan is to install five new pre-fabricated restrooms around the shelters and athletic areas.
The project is expected to cost $384,000. Park officials say they had previously applied for this grant and expected to receive it, but the pandemic put the grants on hold.
