Two local congressmen have joined in a bipartisan effort to pass a bill that will aim to strengthen steel trade in the United States.
Congressmen Mike Kelly and Chris Deluzio introduced the Steel Act in congress late last week.
The bill will enhance trade enforcement legislation and prevent dumping, an unfair trade practice by foreign nations that sell subsidized goods in the United States.
The two congressmen argue that those products devalue the prices of American Steel and other domestic products.
