The Pennsylvania House of Representatives have passed a bill that would expand dental coverage for those on Medicaid.
Medical assistance recipients in Pennsylvania will now be offered a dental benefits package that includes root canals, periodontal disease work, emergency exams and other services that were cut from the program in 2011.
The bill passed with bipartisan support of 153-50. The bill now heads the state senate for consideration.
