The Butler City Fire Department will use grant funding to replace the fire station garage doors, motors, and control equipment.
At their meeting Tuesday night, City Council accepted a proposal from Overhead Door Company of Greater Pittsburgh in the amount of just over $56,000.
The City has already been awarded money for this project through a 2023 PA Office of the State Fire Commissioner Municipal Fire Department Capital Grant.
The current doors are over 20 years old and this job is expected to be completed by the beginning of summer.
