If you were in downtown Butler this weekend, you may have noticed that Main Street was a bit brighter with holiday spirit.
Late last week, volunteers with Butler Downtown and workers from Armstrong, Butler County Ford, and the Canella Café all put up the snowflake Christmas lights.
And some are brand new; there are 20 new LED “cascading snowflake” lights added to the collection. Those were made possible by fundraising from the Butler Downtown group.
They say the fundraiser is still ongoing as the group aims to replace all of the older lights with the new LED ones.
