A special ceremony will happen later today to mark new artwork that will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
There will be two Liberty Bells that will be unveiled this afternoon at the Butler County Courthouse.
This is a part of a statewide effort that gave local artists a chance to design replicas of the Liberty Bell.
Butler County will have two bells set for display, including one by local artist Tom Panei. One bell will be on display at the Butler County Courthouse; the other in Cranberry Township.
The ceremony happens at 1:45 p.m. today at the Courthouse.
