A new order will require most customers and employees to wear masks inside businesses all across the state.
The order will go into effect Sunday night at 8 p.m. according to Governor Tom Wolf.
“We need to make sure that we give employees the confidence to go to work. We need to make sure that customers feel safe coming and buying things,” Wolf said. “And we need to make sure owners have the confidence that their customers and employees are going to be healthy.”
The state said that businesses that sell medications and food must provide alternative methods of pick-up or delivery for those who don’t have masks.
It also requires businesses to limit store occupancy to no more than 50 percent.
