Slippery Rock University President Dr. Karen Riley will officially be inaugurated at a ceremony later this morning.
The formal ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at the Miller Theater on Slippery Rock’s campus.
A number of delegates and representatives from the education system and community will be at the event. State System of Higher Education Chancellor Daniel Greenstein will invest Riley as president. Board of Governor Chair Cynthia Shapira will administer the oath of office.
Riley was selected as the 18th president in school history and has been on the job since early July.
