A state agency is providing a new resource to help residents who are responsible for the care of others.
PA CareKit is an effort by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to provide training, access to services, and personalized tools for the one and a half million caregivers across the state.
Assembled over nine months, this resource is designed to understand the needs of each situation as well as provide access to the Caregiver Support Program. Print materials from the PA CareKit will be available for free at community libraries, the AAAs, and Senior Community Centers across the Commonwealth.
Visit the state’s Department of Aging website for more information about this resource.
