A new study shows an estimate of how many homes in the state don’t have any type of air conditioning.
According to the Census Bureau, an estimated 5.7 percent of homes in Pennsylvania have no air conditioning at all.
In Butler County, that number is just over the state average at 7.2 percent.
The highest percentage of home without A/C are in the northeast region—with Cameron County leading at 32 percent.
