Players and spectators are returning to an improved Pullman Park thanks to the efforts of Butler City and Butler Area School District.
The new arrangement between Pullman Park owners Butler City and park operators Butler Area School District is kicking off with a new turf infield that was finished earlier this month.
Another improvement is that Armstrong provided Wi-fi network access to the park on the district’s network. Concessions will eventually include booster club volunteers distributing hot food once cleaning, repairs, and inspection has been completed in a few weeks. Until then the district’s food provider Metz will have limited options available.
The majority of parking for those attending games at Pullman Park will be located beyond the outfield. Work still scheduled for some point in the future includes a replacement of netting as well as new seats which are on backorder after Butler City approved that purchase last year.
