A local business will receive financial help from Butler Downtown’s Revolving Loan Fund Program.
Butler City Council has approved a revolving loan of $50,000 from Housing Redevelopment Assistance Fund to Porchvue Winery LLC.
The company previously operated in Clarion County and is now processing online orders out of Chicora but plans to open a location at 126 North Main Street sometime this spring. The money will be used on furniture and equipment as well as renovations and bar construction.
The Annual Interest Rate is set at 3.99% and fixed for a term of five years. The Butler Downtown Revolving Loan Committee recommended approval of this proposal with some additional money still available for other local businesses are interested in applying.
