Motorists should be aware of construction work this week on a main bridge in Muddy Creek Township.
PennDOT will begin the next phase of the $6.3 million Portersville Bridge replacement project over Interstate 79 on Wednesday at 8 p.m. weather permitting.
Nightly through August 18th, crews will be detouring traffic off Interstate 79 both northbound and southbound to allow for demolition of the existing Portersville Bridge. The new structure will be a two-span composite steel multi-girder bridge.
This project is expected to continue until June of 2024.
