The NFL championship games are set for this weekend:
Denver will host New England Sunday at 3pm in the AFC Championship game. The Broncos defeated the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in overtime Saturday night. The Patriots defeated the Houston Texans 28-16 Sunday.
–The Broncos scored a touchdown with less than a minute remaining in regulation to take a 30-27 lead, before Buffalo kicked a 50-yard field goal with five seconds remaining to force overtime. Denver won the game with a 23-yard field goal in overtime.
–The Patriots built a 21-10 lead by halftime and held on to win their Divisional Round game. New England picked off Houston quarterback C.J. Stroud for times. They also forced a fumble.
Seattle will host the Los Angeles Rams at 6:30pm Sunday in the NFC Championship game. The Seahawks handed the San Francisco 49ers a 41-6 loss in the Divisional Round Saturday night. The Rams defeated the Chicago Bears 20-17 in overtime last night.
–The Bears tied the game on a Caleb Williams 14-yard touchdown pass with :18 seconds remaining in regulation. The Rams picked off Williams in overtime and converted a 42-yard field goal to win the game.
–The Seahawks returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and never trailed. Seattle built a 24-6 lead by halftime.
The two winners of this weekend’s games will meet in the Super Bowl February 8th.
