A lawsuit against a major employer in Butler County has been dismissed.
Nippon Steel has voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit they filed against Cleveland-Cliffs CEO Lourenco Goncalves and United Steelworkers President David McCall.
The suit was dropped after a settlement agreement was reached that did not include any financial consideration. While the remaining terms of the agreement are confidential.
Nippon had accused Goncalves and McCall in interfering with the closing of sale of U.S. Steel to Nippon.
