Some local musicians will be receiving national recognition later today.
The Noble Hops band will be at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee as part of the Josie Music Awards.
Noble Hops has been nominated for three awards including Song of the Year – Rock Duo/Group – “The Trunk”, Group of the Year – Rock Genre/Mix, and Fans Choice – Duo/Group.
The Noble Hops were formed in 2010 by Utah Burgess and are based in Sarver. The past 15 months has seen the band log 89 shows at 52 different venues.
