Travel delays are expected this week for travelers in Cranberry Township, as construction crews continue work on replacing a bridge over North Boundary Road.
According to PennDOT, North Boundary Road will be closed beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday while the northbound I-79 bridge is demolished.
Motorists should expect delays during this time with a detour posted that will direct traffic onto Marshall Road, Rowan Road, and Route 19 North before connecting back up to North Boundary Road.
This is phase 2 of a two-year $14.6 million project. The southbound I-79 bridge over North Boundary Road was replaced during the construction season last year.
