A group of local students is preparing to present a classic musical of fairy tale transformation this weekend.
North Catholic High School is staging Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella beginning Friday and 7:30 p.m. and continuing Saturday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. as well as Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12 in advance online through the North Catholic website or $15 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $5 at the Saturday matinee.
Saturday’s matinee performance will also include crafting stations for making wands and crowns, a story-teller, and backdrops for photos. Costumes are encouraged. Students are also collecting needed items for Treasure House Fashions to help women in transition or crisis.
