2024 was the warmest year on record for the Pittsburgh area.
That’s according to the National Weather Service. They say the average temperature last year was 56.4 degrees, which beats the previous record set in 1921.
The three hottest days of the year happened on June 22nd, August 27th and 30th when it hit 94 degrees.
Meanwhile, the coldest day happened in January when it was 7 degrees.
