The National Weather Service is now confirming there were two tornadoes that came through Butler County earlier this week.
Not long after the storm rolled through, the National Weather Service was able to confirm a tornado in Center Township near the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department. That twister led to the roof of a salt shed getting ripped off.
Investigators also say there was another tornado in the county, this one in Clay Township. Weather officials say the impact was seen in the area of Mack Road.
Both tornadoes were classified as EF-0.
That now marks nine tornadoes for the Pittsburgh area this year.
