The head of a Pennsylvania agency is stepping down from the position after being asked to reapply.
The head of the Office of Consumer Advocate, Patrick Cicero, has resigned saying that new Attorney General Dave Sunday allegedly asked him to reapply or resign.
Cicero served in the position for three years and in his resignation letter he said he had hoped to stay in the position “despite the open, vocal, and public campaign led by various investor-owned utilities to seek my removal.”
The officer of Consumer Advocate servers both renters and homeowners when dealing with water, electrical, gas, and telecommunication utilities.
