County election officials are urging those who voted by mail to make sure your ballot doesn’t need to be “cured.”
A cured ballot is when a voter made a mistake when they submitted their mail-in ballot. That could include the signature, the date, or using an incorrect envelope.
As of Friday morning, about 100 ballots needed to be cured in Butler County.
You can make these corrections by visiting the county’s election office on West Cunningham Street. The deadline to make the correction is Tuesday at 8 p.m.
If you are unable to make it to the county election office you can vote provisionally and the computation board will decide to count your ballot or not.
If you don’t have an email you can check your ballot status at vote.pa.gov.
