Two top officials with the state are warning vendors about a potential farm show scam.
Attorney General Michelle Henry and Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding are warning vendors of solicitations of a “Winter Farm Expo” for January 6-7. A request of payment to reserve vendor space is not true because no such event is scheduled at the Farm Show Complex on those dates.
This is not to be confused with the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show, Pennsylvania’s State Fair, which going to be held from January 6-13. There is more information on that farm show at Farmshow.pa.gov.
Those who have questions or may have been a victim of this scam can submit a compliant by calling the Attorney General’s office at 1-800-441-2555.
