The Old Stone House in Slippery Rock is officially under new management.
The DCNR announced the Jennings Environmental Center is in charge of the historic property, which is on Route 8 north.
The Old Stone House has been closed since 2020, but has undergone necessary renovations and is ready to open soon.
Jennings official say they are planning to have expanded programming for schools and the public.
The Old Stone House was originally built in 1822 as a tavern and inn.
There is no official opening date yet.
