One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Slippery Rock Township last week.
On Wednesday, police were called just after 4:30 p.m. to Kiester Road for a two-vehicle accident with injury.
According to police, at the time of the crash it was raining and the road was wet.
A vehicle driven by 19-year-old Ava Demichele of Dallas, PA was driving east when a vehicle on the side of the road attempted to merge into the lane. Demichele attempted to stop but was then rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Andrea Oakes of Michigan.
Neither driver suffered an injury but Demichele’s passenger was transported to Grove City Hospital for a possible head injury.
Oakes was cited in the crash for following too closely.
