Traffic was delayed Friday morning on I-79 following a tractor trailer crash.
The accident happened in the northbound lane just after 3 a.m. near mile marker 81—which is near the Evans City exit.
A tractor trailer that was reportedly carrying wood rolled over and collided into another tanker truck.
When crews got on scene, they found one tractor trailer overturned on the right shoulder of the road, with a tanker truck on the shoulder as well.
Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles, however one had to be taken to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Traffic was reduced to one lane due to the crash. Crews had the scene cleared around 6 a.m.
