An online course in September and October will provide information for sheep owners about getting started as well as improving operations.
Penn State Extension is offering webinars beginning September 18th at 7 p.m.
Through a combination of readings, educational videos, and worksheets instructors will teach participants about selecting types of sheep, feed, reproductive processes, health needs, marketing, and financial issues.
Knowledge is checked through the completion of a quiz at the end of each session. The course takes about 25 hours to complete.
