A Cranberry man is facing charges after online private investigators found he was trying to send inappropriate messages to a minor.
On Saturday, police arrested 32-year-old Eric Trylko for allegedly attempting to acquire child sexual abuse material.
According to charging documents, Trylko was unknowingly messaging a representative from the group “Predator Poachers.” In the messages, which were shown to police, Trylko requested sexual acts from the represented pretending to be a minor.
When police spoke with Trylko he is alleged to have admitted he thought he was speaking to a minor.
He has been charged with criminal attempt and criminal use of a communication facility. Trylko was placed int the Butler County Prison and his bail was set at $100,000.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 6.
