State police are investigating after someone hacked in a Facebook account and defrauded individuals.
Police say a resident of Jefferson Township had their Facebook account information stolen. The unknown suspect then began scamming friends of the victim by asking for money.
Police believe the suspect stole $1,750 in the scheme.
No information was available on a possible suspect.
