With the passing of the state budget, funding has started to become available including supplemental funding for school districts.
In response to a court ruling that found how Pennsylvania funds school districts, the legislature created adequacy supplement funding in 2024.
Over $500 million has been made available to school districts across the state through this funding from the state budget.
Butler County will see $5.2 million in funding with the largest amount going to Butler Area School District and Knoch School District receiving the required minimum of $50,000.
