PA Ranks In Top 10 For Lung Cancer Survival Rates

A new report from the American Lung Association shows that Pennsylvania ranks in the top 10 of states for lung cancer survival rates.

The Commonwealth ranked 9^th of 39 for best survival rate, along with the 6^th lowest state in untreated lung cancer patients.

However, Pennsylvania is still 40^th in smoking rate and 39^th in radon exposure.

The American Lung Association continues to stress the importance of lung cancer screenings, especially if you are a smoker.
