A new report from the American Lung Association shows that Pennsylvania ranks in the top 10 of states for lung cancer survival rates.
The Commonwealth ranked 9th of 39 for best survival rate, along with the 6th lowest state in untreated lung cancer patients.
However, Pennsylvania is still 40th in smoking rate and 39th in radon exposure.
The American Lung Association continues to stress the importance of lung cancer screenings, especially if you are a smoker.
