Revenue collections for the state were slightly down from expectations according to state officials.
The state collected $3.8 billion in taxes in December, which was about 2 percent less than anticipated.
However, the fiscal year-to-date collections are just slightly below initial estimates, down .5 percent.
Treasury officials say they try to be within 2 percent of projections and are well within that range.
