The PIAA Board of Directors on Wednesday announced Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh will play host to the PIAA boys and girls soccer championships for the next four seasons (2026-27 through 2029-30). The championships had been held in Hershey for two decades before being held at central Pennsylvania high school sites twice in the past four seasons. The PIAA began contesting boys soccer championships in 1973, and the girls championships debuted in 1992. They have never been hosted in western Pennsylvania.
