A Butler County Community College part-time ethics instructor has been placed on leave after he was arrested last week in Ohio.
Officers with the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Jarod Mills on four felony charges last Thursday including attempted unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
With Mills on leave, his current class has been reassigned to another instructor and will continue to be taught remotely. BC3 will not issue any further comment on the situation.
Mills is one of 179 recent arrests connected with Operation Autumn Hope coordinated by the Ohio Attorney General to end a large number of minors being sex-trafficked across the state. A preliminary hearing for Mills is scheduled for Friday in Ohio.
