A longtime paramedic with the Karns City Ambulance Service is recovering after suffering serious injuries in an accident earlier this month.
Nancy Brice was injured in a crash on Route 28 while she was working with Clarion Hospital EMS. She was transporting a child to Children’s Hospital when she was involved in an accident that led to a fractured spine and ribs.
No one else was injured in the crash.
Officials say that Brice is recovering and hopes to return to work with both Karns City Ambulance and Clarion EMS.
