A man accused of taking a gun out and threatening to kill several people has been arrested and placed in the Butler County Prison.
The incident happened Monday when police were called to the 1000 block of East Eldorado Road in Parker for a man with a gun around threatening to “pistol whip” a man and kill several others.
The victim claims he saw 27-year-old Darius Davis of Parker take bullets out of a black hand gun after Davis made several threats.
Davis initially told police he did not have a gun, but later asked police if it was illegal to unload a gun. Police then used those statements by Davis and a gun in his possession matching the description by the victim to charge Davis.
He’s been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and disorderly conduct and placed in prison on $10,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 3.
