One person was taken to the hospital in a crash last night in Butler Township.
The accident happened just after 11 a.m. on New Castle Road near the Valley Lines Bus garage.
Police say 42-year-old Irene McCollough of Butler lost control of her car while trying to go around the curve at the dead end of the road. She hit an embankment and then crashed into a tree.
30-year-old Zachary Miller of Butler was a passenger in the car and suffered a possible broken leg. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. McCollough was not injured.
The car was severely damaged and towed from the scene.
Police say McCollough was driving too fast for conditions.
