Crews are on the scene of a crash that involved a car versus a pedestrian.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 8:20 a.m. for a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle on Ekastown Road—which is Route 228 East.
The accident happened about a mile before the intersection with Sarver Road.
Details on the crash are not known, but dispatchers say one person suffered a “compound leg fracture.”
A portion of Route 228 has been shut down in between Sarver Road and Coal Hollow Road.
