The Pittsburgh Penguins wasted a four-goal lead and fell 5-4 in overtime last night to the Detroit Red Wings at PPG Paints Arena. The Pens scored all four of their goals in the first period and went two-for-two on power plays in the game. Jason Zucker scored twice, but could not keep the Pens from losing their third straight game. They allowed the Red Wings 47 shots on goal and five unanswered goals. Casey DeSmith stopped 42.
The Pens host the New Jersey Devils Friday night.
