The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-5 in overtime last night. Captain Sidney Crosby returned for the first time since he was injured in the February Olympics. He had a goal and an assist in a close game which was broken open when both teams combined for seven goals in the third period.

The Pens completed a five-game road trip going 2-1-2. They are home for the next three games. The Pens host Winnipeg Saturday afternoon at PPG Paints Arena. Face-off is 1pm.
