The Olympic men’s hockey games have begun in Italy. The Canadian team, captained by Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, will play Czechia this morning at 10:40am.
The United States team will meet Latvia at 3:10pm this afternoon. Penguins goaltender Arturs Silovs is part of Team Latvia.
Last night – Penguins Erik Karlsson and Rickard Rakell had assists in Sweden’s 5-2 win over Italy. Sweden will play Finland Saturday night.
The U.S. women’s hockey team won their first four games and meet Italy in the Quarterfinal Round Friday at 3:10pm.
