The Pittsburgh Penguins lost their fourth straight game on Saturday night, as they fell to the Tampa Bay Lightning by a final of 5-4.
Scoring goals for the Pens were Jared McCann, Bryan Rust, Tanner Pearson, and Garrett Wilson. McCann’s goal was his first as a Penguin, and tenth of the year. Goalie Casey DeSmith started in net for the Penguins, and made 29 saves. Captain Sidney Crosby also broke the franchise’s record for most career games played with 916 on Saturday. Former player and current owner Mario Lemieux previously held the record with 915.
The Pens will return to action on Monday, as they travel to Philadelphia to play the Flyers. You can catch the game following the conclusion of the Knoch boys’ basketball game on WISR 680AM. Faceoff is set for 7pm.
